Unity is part of the New Thought movement that began over 112 years ago.  The co-founders of Unity, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, were very interested in what is now called the spirit/mind/body connection, and looked to the teachings of Jesus and The Bible to give direction for physical and spiritual healing.  They began a powerful initiative of education, healing, and prayer that continues today.

Our church is affiliated with Unity School of Christianity, publisher of “Daily Word” and “Unity Magazine.”  Unity’s headquarters are in Unity Village, Missouri, near Kansas City.  Silent Unity, located at Unity Village, has maintained an around-the-clock prayer service for over 112 years.  To call Silent Unity and experience a beautiful message of comfort by staff members trained to pray with you, call (816) 969-2000, or if you have no means of paying for the call, 1-800-669-7729.  You may also call me for prayer.
